Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: July 2026

Hide Sushi is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want all of our guests to be able to browse our menu, find our location and hours, and reach us with ease.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. Our website has been reviewed and updated in good faith to meet these standards to the best of our ability.

Measures We Have Taken

  • Added descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Ensured text and background colors meet AA contrast requirements
  • Provided keyboard access to all interactive elements, with visible focus indicators
  • Used clear, structured headings and semantic page landmarks
  • Converted our menu from a PDF into an accessible web page, while keeping a printable PDF available
  • Tested the site with automated accessibility tools and manual review, including screen reader and keyboard testing

Accessibility Tools On This Site

Our website includes an accessibility assistant, accessible from a button on every page. It lets you adjust the display to suit your needs, including options to change contrast, increase text size, and highlight links. Look for the accessibility icon while browsing.

Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time task. We continue to monitor and maintain the site so that it remains usable and compliant as content changes over time. While we strive to conform to WCAG 2.2 AA, some third-party content or older material may not yet be fully accessible, and we welcome feedback that helps us improve.

If you encounter any difficulty using our website, or if you need information from our menu in another format, please let us know. We are happy to help and will do our best to provide the information you need.
